Single Ply Roofing

Single ply membranes are strong, flexible sheets composed predominantly of a synthetic polymer – Polyvinyl Chloride.

PVC single ply membranes vary in thickness from 1.2mm to 2.0mm. These PVC roofing membranes are hot-air welded at joints to form continuous roof waterproofing. When combined with insulation and continuous support they form complete, durable Flat roof systems.

How can single-ply roofing be installed?

Singly-ply can be installed in many ways, but the fundamentals are the same; basically, single-ply roofing sheets are placed upon the substrate layer of the roof. Those sheets can be adhered to the substrate using heat or adhesives or simply laid loosely over the substrate and weighted down with ballast. On both methods, a single unbroken sheet is created by welding the seams that cover the entire roof area. On the other hand, It can also be mechanically fastened to the substrate layer.
